The SNIA project

This Virtual Reality project is a tool to help decision-making as part of the future renovations to be carried out by DGAC on the Orly airport control tower.

The brief / the challenge

SNIA (Société Nationale d’Ingénierie Aéroportuaire) asked us to develop a tool to help with decision-making on the project to redesign the Orly airport control tower. A way to choose materials through an immersive visit to the site for managers who could take their final decisions as if they were really there.

The BackLight answer

A decision-making tool that turned into a change-management tool. The experience helped reassure the control-tower employees, who had expressed concerns before the work began. But their worries were quickly resolved with a stroke of the HTC VIVE controller!
